The IMGA and region Lombardy will work together to deliver sustainable and excellent Winter World Masters Games from 12 – 21 January 2024, 4 years after the success of the 2020 Winter World Masters Games in Innsbruck.

It’s already time for the 4th edition of the Winter World Masters Games. The event is used as a test ground for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in the region. After Bled, Quebec City and Innsbruck, Lombardia will become the center of Masters Wintersports in January 2024. The biggest Wintersports festival for active adults over 30 years old. We hope to see you all there!

The sports that are currently proposed:

  • Alpine skiing
  • Biathlon
  • Curling
  • Cross-Country Skiing
  • Figure Skating
  • Ice Hockey
  • Ski Mountaineering
  • Ski Orienteering
  • Ski Jumping
  • Nordic Combined
  • Short track
  • Snowboarding
  • Speed Skating
  • Snow Run
  • Snow Volley

The Games will be very compact as the sports will be organised in the following regions: Ponte di Legno-Tonale, Val Chiavenna-Madesimo, Bormio, Aprica, Vermiglio, Chiesa in Valmalenco, Pellizzano and Sondrio.

 

Follow Event

 

The registration fee is 200€. It gives access to all sports and disciplines (within the limited number of participants allowed in each discipline) which includes:

  • Administrative and collection costs
  • Restart policy for reimbursement of registration fee (for registrations made in 2023)*
  • Medical certificate validation via DataHealth
  • Help desk during office hours
  • Extra welcome kit for supporters under 17 who participate free: € 30

For the accreditation at the event there will be 4 accreditation centres (details released nearer to the event):

  • Bormio
  • Chiesa in Valmalenco – Sondrio
  • Chiavenna
  • Ponte di Legno
