Despite the unprecedented times we find ourselves in, the IMGA are working closely with the Jeonbuk Local Organising Committee to continue with preparations for the 2022 Asia Pacific Masters Games.

Following the success of the first Asia Pacific Masters Games in 2018, the second edition is due to take place in South Korea’s south-western province of  Jeollabuk-do in 2022.

With the official contract signed, event organisation began with the formation of the Organising Committee in May. The Organising Committee made further progress with preparations when they opened the official Organisation Committee Office in South Korea earlier this month.

About the event IMGA President, Kai Holm, stated, “We’re delighted to bring the Games to Korea. It’s a country with the highest standards –world-class venues, facilities and operations. We’re confident of delivering an unforgettable experience for our Asia-Pacific community.”

We are dedicated to ensuring the success of 2022 Asia Pacific Masters Games and will continue to work closely with all stakeholders and Masters athletes to ensure this is a reality.
