The Olympic – like sports festival for athletes over 30 years old gathers like-minded people to enjoy their passion for sports together. From all different levels mature athletes will compete and challenge themselves and each other. The sports festival celebrates living an active lifestyle, friendship, fun and health between thousands of people from all around the world.

With over 75 nationalities represented at the event, the Games have a true inclusive, diverse, multi-cultural mix of athletes attending and competing in their favourite sport over a period of 10 days.

“Cleveland has built a reputation for successfully hosting large multi-sport events such as the 2014 Gay Games, 2013 National Senior Games and 2004 International Children’s Games” said David Gilbert, President and CEO of Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.

“The sports commission has spent six years tenaciously pursuing this incredible opportunity for our community, and now the preparation begins; this will take a community-wide effort to make it the best Masters Games ever. All eyes will be on The Land, as our city is elevated to an international stage continuing to change perceptions and showcase the pride we all have in Cleveland.”
