On 9 May 2024 the Organising Committee of the 2025 World Masters Games have presented the mascot ‘Strong’ in Taipei and New Taipei City.

The “北” character resembles two individuals standing back-to-back, symbolising symmetry and mutual support. It reflects the co-hosting cities’ joint prosperity and their intertwined urban characteristics. The interlacing and cutting of colours in the mascot’s design further represents the cooperation and communication reached by the Two Cities in the process of organising the event, embodying a tangible manifestation of their consensus.

The concept draws on the meaning of ‘Strong’, resonating with the inflection of the World Masters Games, to convey the enduring nature of master’s level sports. The design incorporates a lightning bolt symbol at its centre, representing ever-ready energy, signifying boundlessness.
