Important items, including the constitution, IMGA Governance, the 2024 events and the upcoming World Masters Games in Taipei were among those presented at the IMGA Annual General Meeting (AGM).
On 20 November 2024, in his summary of the year, IMGA President Sergii Bubka highlighted the success of the many initiatives undertaken by the Board, the Executive Committee, the IMGA Office and the LOC’s. On Wednesday 30 delegates from the International Federations attended the Annual General Meeting, with some members joining at the IMGA Head Office.
President Sergii Bubka paid tribute to the delegates and the achievements in 2024: “Thanks to the great contribution and involvement by the members and our Board we look back on a very successful year. The fruitful partnership with our host cities and their dedication to deliver an excellent Games experience to the athletes have also been instrumental in achieving this milestone. Thank you for your continued support of the IMGA and the global master sports movement.”

During the meeting the accounts of 2023 were presented and approved by the members of the IMGA.
Constitution
Following the outcome of the vote on the constitution in last year’s AGM the Constitution working group has addressed the remaining recommendations of the Governance working group. The new constitution has been approved and sets a strong foundation for future growth and the next steps for the organisation.
Taipei 2025
The LOC has shared an excellent report on the preparations for the Games and it promises to be an impressive spectacle for the Masters community since the last Masters games in 2017.
