The IMGA doesn’t allow building new venues and encourages the host cities to use existing facilities to keep the costs lower. Therefore, the following information is subject to changes depending on the venues available.
Figure Skating Men and Women: Class I (28+), Class II (38+), Class III (48+), Class IV (58+), Class V (68+). The age category you will compete in for Figure Skating will be determined as at July 1st of the year preceding the event. Speed Skating Men and Women: 30-34, 35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-79, 80-84,85-89,90-94,95+. The age category you will compete in for Speed Skating will be determined as at July 30th of the year of the event. For example, if you are 39 during Games time but have turned 40 by 30 June, you would compete in the 40-44 age category.

Marathon – 7,5 km, 25km, 50 km
