Description

Melbourne held World Masters Games from October 5 to October 13, 2002. There were 24.886 athletes from 98 countries. They competed in 26 different sports. The Motto was "The biggest multi-sport festival on Earth". The free entry to the ceremony helped to attract the 32.000 spectators.
