Description

Portland held the World Masters Games from August 9 to August 22, 1998. The city hosted 11.400 athletes from 102 countries. They competed in 28 different sports. The Motto was "The global celebration of sport for life". Specialty was also media coverage highlighted by four hours of prime time coverage on ESPN.
